Do something sooooo amazing, that you will be hailed as a hero forever. For example:
1. Go to another planet and start a civilization there.
2. Being a killer, mass murderer, and finding the cure for cancer will only get you so far…do you know who founded the first antibiotic to fight the flu? Or who invented the syringe? Or who made the first computer? So do something like #1.
3. Take hallucinogens and you will be living “forever”…make sure you take a ton b/c you will go into a hallucination and you won’t wake up again.
4. Sugar, spice, and everything nice.

Unfortunately for you, immortality is a physical impossibility for a human.
While resveratrol blocks free radicals, preventing your cells from being damaged by aging on its own, but when they say people die of old age, it isn’t really true.
In fact, the reason you will die is likely due to your organs failing because of damage occurring over time. Heart disease and stroke are caused by the buildup of fatty plaques. Cancers are caused by everyday chemicals to which you are exposed every single day.
Let’s not forget diseases, traffic accidents, and war deaths too.
I think the maximum you could hope to achieve, assuming nanotechnology and gene therapy get perfected (you’re probably a hundred years too young for that) is probably around a 200 year old average life span, assuming nanobots converted food for you, exercised your muscles, defended you from nasty death bugs and cancer causing agents, and so forth. Your tissues would still eventually just get overused.

You should appreciate life because God has given it to you. It depends on how you deal with it. You should remember that God only, knows what will happen in the future.. So, live your life to the fullest.

Some people theorize that among certain other things that would have to be fixed, we would have to activate all the telomerases in our bodies so our cells could reproduce indefinitely, like cancer cells, yet still be in control.
When a cell divides, it actually loses some of its DNA. Most of the DNA at the ends are just “junk” DNA, but once you start losing some of the coding DNA, a cell will shut down (apoptosis). At a certain point in life, many, many cells would start undergoing apoptosis, which would be a likely factor in leading to death. However, if we could activate telomerases in our cells, then we could extend the “junk” DNA so cells could continue to divide.
