Resveratrol Anti Aging

Hail and well met! I’ve been taking resveratrol for a few years. I read about it on Pubmed a few years ago, and based on the rat study, and some research on potential ill-effects of vitamins, I decided it wouldn’t hurt to start taking some every day.

Now I’m in China, and I’m trying to find a good place to buy it online for reasonable prices, that ships to China, in good quantities, and from a reliable source that doesn’t reek of snake-oil.

Also, if anybody has done diving into the scientific articles and reliable sources and has some recommendations about doses and mg or the efficacy of absorption, etc, I’d be interesting. I’m always wary of how vitamin supplement studies are overhyped and funded by special interests, but I think that this one is probably a safe bet, good odds positive and no downside except wasted money.

I have read several articles stating that Resveratrol gets metobolized in the digestive system. They did blood tests and very little of it actually ends up in the blood stream. When they had people put a resveratrol pill under their tongues to dissolved, blood tests showed that there was plenty of resveratrol in the blood stream to be effective. I just purchased 1kg of 40% pure Resveratrol Powder. I was expecting a white powder. Instead, I received a brown powder with a very distinctive odor. I suspect I received the less expensive grape skin powder. The manufacturer has yet to supply me with the certificate of analysis for some reason? Does anyone know what this stuff looks like?
